haha! Just Kidding...about the second part.... Here are a list of things that I have noticed lately, and I recommend them as new "features". I don't know how to post in JIRA, but as soon as I do, I will post them there as well. (1) When I TP to a platform in the sky, that is there all of the time, my feet sink into the ground a little. I have to rez something, sit on it, and then stand up to fix it. (2) The BBC code is disabled in the forums; what a drag. (3) I want a feature that allows me to turn on and off the view of ban lines from my client's end. They will still be there; but if I own land next to a neighbor with banlines, I don't have to see them. Let's say a feature under the view tab that says. "View Ban Lines". (4) I want a voice equalizer and background noise reducer built into the client for voice. Hey maybe even a voice changer while we are at it. (5) There is some kind of recurring error in voice where everyone sounds quiet. The only way I know how to fix this one is turning people up using volume control per user or a clean reinstall of SL. It's not just me; others have said so as well. (6) Let everyone READ in the forums, but only those with payment info one file can POST in them. (7) Do NOT make people log in to read the Knowledge Base or Solution Finder. I wanted to use LINKS to certain info from the Knowledge Base, but instead copy/pasted it. ( Logging into that support portal is kind of weird. You have to click a link and it misspells your name. If I logged in right now, it would say, "Log in as Gaybot Blessed Blessed?" lol It basically repeats your last name. (9) Make the phone numbers to LL's offices easier to find; it seems they are hidden now which I wont go into detail as to what that says to a customer. (10) Prims up my anal cavity? (shoes, hair, etc...) Not a good look for me... (11) And now the last and most important feature suggestion. I demand to be crowned King of all of Second Life, given a golden crown made from the most expensive sculptie prims in the SL universe, and my name changed to Gaybot Linden. On a serious note ... I really do appreciate all the little and big features in the viewers. It is a compiled delight that you can tell was built from trial and error along with suggestions from the residents. I enjoy SL and helping new people; I would appreciate these being considered for the good of everyone...except maybe for the last one, lol.

Ahem, let me just add one more thing. I will borrow someone's great idea from this forum in Feature Suggestions. (12) Linden Lab should offer free email to users. Look at all of the customers it has brought Yahoo! and Google. A friend of mine has a concept of 3D email. Let's say you get a 3D mailbox in world; click on it and you are whisked away to your web page email.

How about a feature similar to what Yahoo Messenger has?
(13) Have a box called Invisible before logging in. If you check it before logging in, it makes you appear offline to everyone on your list. When they PM it says "User not online, your message has been saved for delivery." I believe in alts, but note purely. The bad thing about alts is they balloon the number of real people in SL and take up more asset server space.

If this hadn't been suggested for more than four years, it might be a reasonable suggestion. Funny how a social networking firm has no idea what social networking is about, or networking, or community, or communications. From: someone How about a feature similar to what Yahoo Messenger has? select a box called Invisible before logging in, and when you do log in, it makes you appear offline to everyone on your list. When they PM it says "User not online, your message has been saved for delivery."

Wow, I just thought of three more demands. lol
(14) If I am sitting on a prim, let's say a posing stand, I would prefer it if going into Edit Appearance did not unseat me.
(15) Setting to Busy right now doesn't seem to work. PMs are making it right through; maybe I am confused as to how this is supposed to work?
(16) The camera zooming seems off to me. I can disable camera constraints and pan around an entire sim, but I have been having the hardest time zooming in with the camera on my avatar's face and body. Maybe he is too ugly too look at? I don't know, but I don't remember having such a hard time with it before.

(17) Please update the Terms of Service or the Community Standards to reflect Linden Lab's policy on gambling and games of chance. It's a sign of good communication with oldbies or newbies who come here thinking they are the first to think of making a casino in Second Life.

Participate in one of the beta tests . I was nominated "Empress of Ahern" by Vektor Linden last year in the pile-on test for the new group system . (As for the namechange, have a chat with Robot Foxley if you haven't already )

(1 Please give the tattoo creators their own layer of the avatar to make their creations. Add another skin layer from head to toe so they do not have to use valuable layers like shirt or underpants to make tattoos.

But Malachi, we *had* the pony; it left with Ben. What we really need is that mule that was promised ages ago!

From: Gaybot Blessed Ooh, how I do that? Lindens seem to care less about beta tests these days . Used to be they'd announce when they wanted/needed a beta pile-on stress test, although it could be that there's always enough people on the beta grid now. You could ask Jesse Barnett maybe, I think he/she(?) usually spends his/her time on the beta grid exclusively almost, or used to from posts I read .

The current beta is a chunk of the main-grid, you just take your regular viewer and go to one of the beta-grid regions where Havok 4 is currently working (after a fashion) and mess around with it. I dunno which regions though, haven't really investigated it. Havok 4 isn't ready for a pile-on though I don't think, it sounds as if it's struggling at the moment with performance issues.

/me sends Gaybot a bundle of dynamite ... and a crown. The edit appearance while sitting thing? Um, "fixing" that would be likely to cause way more bugs than the number of problems it solves. I suggest you give up on that one, in the interest of stability. For the rest, make Jira entries and let us know so we can vote! PS: glad you got your name back!

From: Gaybot Blessed (15) Setting to Busy right now doesn't seem to work. PMs are making it right through; maybe I am confused as to how this is supposed to work? "Busy" only means that the sender gets an automated reply. You will still get the IM, it will still pop up that button, it will still display in the chat, it will still annoy the f*ck out of you. But at least you don't have to reply.

If that's all that Busy mode is supposed to do, then I want it to kill the PMs or reroute them to my email.
In Windlight, there seems to be a problem with local lighting. I click custom, and turn on Local Lighting, and it makes no difference even when I am wearing 3 facelights.

I would like a checkbox in the about/info section of a group I have joined. This checkbox would toggle on and off IM capabilities for that group. So if I uncheck it, group IMs cannot get through to me. This would be so helpful in those cases where I need to be part of a group for whatever reason, but people keep abusing it stating things like "my dog just had puppies!" or "party at my club tonight" even though the group channel is meant for owner announcements only.
