A simple request; in the same way that you can toggle flight on and off, it would be nice to have a button to toggle crouching on and off.

If you are standing and hold move/fly down (i.e. pgdn), you move into crouching in the same way that you would start flying if you held move/fly up (i.e. pgup). Another clickable UI button 'crouch' alongside 'fly' that serves the same purpose would also be great.

Adding a preferences box would allow this feature to be enabled/disabled the same as for flight, and could begin disabled if people choose.

Thank you!

This would be very nice. In addition, I would certainly love to see the collision box improved so that crouching and crawling actually affected how tall one was in relation to objects and avatars around them.

I would be thrilled to add ventilation shafts to my build, which visitors would be able to crawl through. As it is, many do in fact attempt this when they come across such small passages and low ceilings. The possibilities it would open up for environmental design would be a huge boon for immersion.

I was thinking of a similar question and had an idea that I never tried but...

if you replaced your standing pose in your AO with a crouch, wouldn't you crouch every time you stopped walking?

This forum is no longer followed by the Lindens, Feature suggestions should be placed in the Public JIRA. I did a quick search and this feature has not been suggested yet.
