I would gladly pay a one-time $100 fee if Linden Lab would allow me to create my own last name and then offer it to people as an incentive to join SL. Specifically something like "Bukkake", "Marvel", "Mutant", "Lad", "Man", or "Blogger" I could easily offer to people on in comic book circles or on my LiveJournal. You could use the same referral and invitation mechanism, so only someone using my invitation link would have access to it.
$100 for one new database entry seems like a good deal to me.

How so? What FAQ have I missed? There was an info station in the Welcome Area about it and something was posted in the forums awhile back. Not sure if the info is still in the WA or not as I haven't looked at them lately. I may still have the notecard from it tho, I will check tonite for ya. _____________________

That's cool too. That's why we have the voting system. If it's a bad idea, then they'll know. If they gave us votes to vote agaist things, they'd know it was a bad idea. As it is every vote will continue to rack up votes until it gets to 500, gets reviewed by the Lindens, if they think its cool it goes ahead. Nothing on your vote, I'll all for it, but venting about the massive holes in the voting system.. _____________________
