An idea to try and help ex premium members return...

I am taking the time to write this because SL was a large part of my life for a long time, I payed a big monthly tier for quite a few years, and spent much of my spare time ( and much of my not spare time) within the world of SL.
recently however, i became quite disheartened with the direction of SL, and made a decision to leave. yesterday, i received an email asking me to participate in a survey for "ex premium members" to see what it would take to get me back. Problem is... you phoned it in LL, it was quite apparent from about the 3rd question that you didn't really care...at least not enough to make an effort in your survey. here let me give you an example:
1. The survey is supposedly for EX premium members, that is to say... members who used to pay a monthly fee to LL yet, all the way through there were questions asking what I was currently doing in SL... not giving me a single option to say "im not using SL anymore".
2. There were multiple questions relating to 'how much land do you own." or similar questions. Again, if I have left SL as a premium member, doesn't it stand to reason that I cant own land?
3. Not a single question about "what would it take to get you back" or "what would you like changed to make SL a place you would like to revisit?" instead...a whole lot of "would you come back if we did this?"

I really felt like it was "well this is what we are doing... so if you were thinking about coming back, maybe something here might make you feel special" rather than "wow...we really miss you and the time and effort you p[ut into making our world a better place... please tell us your concerns or reasons and we will see if we can address some issues for you".
It is a big reason as to my leaving... your customer service stinks. Yeah you gave us the "public issue tracker" bt you know what? if you had a small problem.. that others didn't necessarily know about or care about... you have next to no chance of ever having it looked at.

I am so disappointed LL... I thought there was a chance that you guys had changed your tunes, but it really doesn't feel as though you have.

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this, but seems every other reasonable avenue of communication appears to have been closed, I dont really see a choice.

Thanks for your time
Alice

I suppose they were addressing, not just people who have left entirely, but people who have downgraded to Basic. You can own an island sim if you are Basic, you just can't own Mainland. It doesn't sound like a great questionaire anyway, though.

Sadly I don't think they'll be changing their tune anytime soon. They have little interest in their customers, not a good policy for any business.

LL is making some half-hearted attempt to fix up their broken mainland product and keep selling it. They may just keep rezzing more double prim zoned areas and forget about all of the original mainland and they original premium customers.
