I find myself opening calling card folder, then opening landmark folder....clicking and holding landmark....drag drag drag drag uh oh top of window jiggle jiggle jiggle (window scrolls), ah there's the calling card I want to drop on almost there (random spaz) DAMN sorry (wrong player) for that inventory shot...down to landmark drag drag drag jiggle jiggle...argh.
How about dragging objects into IM windows?

Yes please.
In the mean time, what I do is find the calling card, double click to open that person's profile, then drag the inventory item on the profile. This is slightly less prone to finger twitches.
