everyone has email now, why is SL so tard and has no way in World. this is NOT a reflection of reality TARDS. not even pull the frogs leg and yell Blort. Weird the crap you idiots DONT realize. Rather an example how artificial it all is. u mised a detail

This would make no sense whether sent by email, carrier pigeon, telepathy or any other form of communication that required the sender to be able to compose a coherent sentence.

If you mean email within SL, IMs can perform the same function. If you mean email from within SL to RL, you can set your preferences to have IMs forwarded to your email account. If you mean being able to email from RL to a resident in SL, it would be nice, but there are third party apps that will do it, e.g. zonkster.

Notecards work so well for sending big messages... Chat works in real-time... IMs can go anywhere... Group chat and conference IMs let you include others...

Why replace them with something like Email? That's so 1990's. (^_^)y

I think what our language-impaired friend is trying to say, is like an inbox where messages can wait for you while you're off world, without the worry of a buffer. Sort of keeping that 4th wall up.

As it is now, using ims and note cards to leave messages is kind of clumsy and a short sight, yes id have to agree with Sir WebsterImnot.

Why? buffers sizes, and the happy-go-luckyness of having messages in secondlife while your rl inbox is a desolate wasteland full of spam emails, devoid of human contact.

but yes, buddy please BREATHE then type.

Step 1: Open your search bar in SL

Step 2: Type in the word MAILBOX

Step 3: TP to a store and buy one... yes a working mailbox...

Step 4: Rez your mailbox and enjoy
