Red arrow optional

If there is not yet the possibility to set the red arrow optional, then I suggest that. But if there is, then it would be nice to know how to set it off. It is not fun to click the red arrow after every teleport in order to get rid of it. The arrow does not even look like part of the environment. If I teleport to a forest, then the first thing I see is the red arrow.

It drives me nucking futs!!! Everytime I tp to a new location I have to Ctrl-M to clear the red beacon and arrow off my screen, is there another way to do that without having to open the map again, Thanks in advance for your reply:D

You can just click on the arrow itself...

I never knew that. Since when has that capability been there?

Not like I'd have ever THOUGHT to do it besides (meaning it's unintuitive) and I've never seen documentation on it.

It's been in SL for as long as I have! I think I must have clicked it accidentally, then wondered where it went, back when I was a noob.

I had to ask someone about this too. Drove me crazy for a while! It's not something you would just know to do.

Since everything else is run with the buttons or menus, unless it concerns an object, it's really not an obvious thing.

Should be added to the tutorial island stuff.

It always bugs me that you have an exact teleport point in your landmark, then the arrow appears meters away from you. Completely useless and unnecessary. Anbody know what's up with that?

Might be because the beacon doesn't disapear automatically sometimes.

Mmm....0 meters away...
