I love the resident surveys at the login screen, and am very happy to see them on a more frequent basis and asking more specific questions other than the rather vague "Is your second life experience getting worse or better?". I wonder if someone might give a bit more thought to the multiple choice answers you are providing in response to the questions being posed. On two occaisions I've been unable to answer because my view/experience didn't fit the multiple choice.
<Question> If you don't own land, why not?
I do own land, but there wasn't an option for that... so I just clicked on through - seemed a waste of a question.
<Question> If you own land and restrict access, why?
I do own land, and I do *not* restrict access... once again there was no option for this.
I can understand the tendancy to only ever expect negative responses to questions like this, but not everyone is negative, and it's a bit of a waste if you can't gather positive responses as well.

I agree, I've answered these as well. I was surprised to see there were no other options to go with the questions. Seems to me that 'Governor Linden' or his 'lackies' (I mean this in a nice way... lol) have opted for a yes/no approach. Rather than have a wider option they seem to be painting things black and white as it were. Option boxes with multiple responses would be nice. Not hard to do, surely? (**It's not hard... and stop calling me Shirley!** lol) I responded to to some of these a while ago, with regards to the Land question, and said No them. Then just after I bought land (an Island to be precise) and answered Yes and No too! I wonder how they use the feedback... and also how is the feedback used and if so then do people answer honestly as well when they respond?

Linden Surveys on log-in

Well... that was a nice thank-you from Governor Linden.... I got a free 'one off limited edtion(!?) lol gift called a Benshee, so I went to see the 'Lindens', via a SLurl in the notecard that came with the gift. Lo and behold... Governor Linden was there...!! I had a chat with her, yes that's right Governor Linden is a female, well for now at least. It seems that the title "Governor Linden" is a generic one and that it is not one particular person... the way I understood it as it was told to me that is. The girl in question had a title too... rather amusing too.. 'Head Mole' and as she was working on messages in SL and also at her office in RL I didn't really get the time to chat to her, just spoke to get it confirmed that the gift was for real and not a hoax. So if you got one too then do let me know as I'd be interested to see what you think of the gift.
