Some easier buttons to line up objects

Currently about the only good way to line up objects for smooth transitions of skins and such is to use the coordinates. But even that can be wrong sometimes when just trying to flush simple surfaces.

I know there's flush, construe(sp?) and some other neat AutoCad words to explain the types of fittings I'm trying to encourage the use of in the building environment for SL. So, I encourage you, please add these and make our building building better :D

Along with this goes the option to take off the glow given to objects that are currently highlighted. Sometimes it helps lining stuff up, but other times it can get in the way and I can't tell if 2 objects look good together until i unselect the object, and then if it isn't, I have to go and change it again to try to make them line up again.

So, those are my suggestions... for now :)

Also when I was trying to get my hands on a voting station, I couldn't find any at the bazaar or shop (it was after hours so no lindens were on) so if you could go and add one that'd be nice (or maybe I should just go do it myself? haha)

there are a couple things already that help with lining things up...I'll describe them here....hope you don't already know them 8)

if you have a wall and you want to make another wall next to it just go to the create window and check the "copy selected" box....if you want multiple walls also check the "keep tool selected" box....(so it doesn't switch to edit after each creation....)...then with the first wall selceted click on the side of the wall that you want the next one to join to....that will create a copy of the first wall right next to the first that is horizontally and vertcally aligned.

another way is to hold shift while dragging on the move arrows....that creates a copy and moves it.....then you only have to worry about one axis lining up...the other two already are

(hope that makes sense)

also there is a Voting Station Dispenser in Welsh and the land mark island i believe. Check it out 8)

you can "take a copy" of anyone's voting station and plop it down on your own land. it's keyed off of the Owner, so it will work fine.
