Added Tracffic ranking among different storefronts / regions

this is good to rank which region / company is popular
raise competitiveness and awareness

Traffic was a terrible idea and is in the process of being REMOVED.

SO it's being removed???
but why removed??

It got gamed to death by unscrupulous store owners that logged their traffic in the tens of thousands by creating fake 'bot' accounts and camping them over their land. (>_<

The solution of NOT using traffic as a search rank criteria is only a few moths old so far. (^_^)y

but now how to assess the popularity of the region / storefront based on frequency of visit or sales profit??

just so curious if some people fancy setting up a business in SL, but got no research or statistics to rely on, how can they reckon competitors' activities or how much's gonna be reaped or what value to be based on

My friend says follow the law of bling. He says if a shopping place is more than three months old and AB closes her stall or doesn't open one, that place is dead. That is probably crap, but they look like wise words.

so there is no official way to check such thing?

Best way to work out true traffic is put a visitor counter in your store, and talk to other retailers.
Similar for buyers if you want to know who has got good products, ask someone rather than work off a cheated land counter by a second rate seller.
