Ability to "bookmark" events

I'd like there to be a way to mark events that you want to go to, and have the game remind you of the event.
For example, it's 3pm and I'm reading the Events list and I'm interested in, say, a trivia contest at 6pm. Instead of having to constantly look at the clock for the next three hours and/or missing the event because I'm off having some fun elsewhere in game, I would want a way to bookmark the event and have a little reminder pop up 5 minutes ahead of time, which would tell me what the event is and offer to teleport me there.
I wouldn't think it would take too much effort to program that into the game, and it would probably make things a little more organized for some users (like me).

I think Pendari Lorentz sells something that may help you out there.

I used to sell little alarm clocks in my first week in SL. My sales tactic was to leave them on the event stage and have them ring about half-way throught the event so that everyone who'd arrived late suddenly thought "ooo, what a cool idea!".

lol, I made one too, as a wristwatch...
you could set the alarm in up to about 5 different timezones.

And yes, I have a device that will let you plug in events, notes, etc. and set a date and time to be reminded of whatever it was you entered. Mulitple entries possible.

I do however also support the original suggestion in this thread and think more options for organizing and receiving notices about events would be a great thing for SL!

I strongly endorse this feature/idea.

A nice little feature There had was something exactly like this, instead of a person sending out Event Announcements you would click a button on the events page to recieve a reminder about the event when it would start.

I'd love to see something like that in SL, where we could go down the Event list and select which events we wanted to be reminded of and not have that announcement for any other events except the ones we select (would also be an option in the preferences).

You could also maybe set it to remind you every 5 minutes or some such.
