Personally, I like moving around in Mouselook mode, but that mode is limited. I believe it should be possible to add the pie menu functionality to mouseclicks, which then pop you out of Mouselook while you work, then pop you back in afterwards. Or at least have that option.
Being a gamer that has played many first person shooters as well as MMORPG's, this is more the "standard" or default view for mobility. Moving to a 3rd person perspective is an option (much like Mouselook is currently an option). The current method in SL takes getting used to when coming from a game like EverQuest or Castle Wolfenstein.
Is this possible? Does anyone agree/disagree?

I believe that if you hold the alt key while clicking (in mouselook) you can click on objects normally.

Chris,
I tried holding ALT when in mouselook, but all I get is a hand cursor. Not sure what I can do with it. I still don't get the pie menus, which is all I want!
Lindens, is this possible??

I agree, i think we should be able to use the pie menu when we click an object in mouselook, there was several times where i was in a treasure hunt and i couldn't get the item cause it was out of view from where i was standing. I could see it in mouse look, and if i used focus it made it difficult to reach it still.
