I'm not sure if its possible without a script, but it would be a nice idea to have partially modifiable objects in some type of 'advanced' features section that doesn't necessarily have to be done, but can be done for more advanced users who want maximum control of their product without crippling the products use.

For example, you might make it so that you can modify the size of an object or the shape of it, but not the texture, or vice versa. Things like this would really make it a lot easier for people like me, who want some control over what happens to the items they sell but doesn't want to destroy the ability for people to use it properly. Please let me know if this is already a feature and if so, how to do it.

Thanks

You could simply make a script that took commands from the owner and modified the proper attributes of the object. I believe that Jeffrey Gomez wrote a script like this and released it open-source.
