Some are obvious and probably already suggested, but I'm mostly pointing out the ones I like the most.

1: Object searching and highlighting, so we know where the hell that thing flew away to, or if that other thing really did sink into the ground, or where did I misplace my contacts (yes I did make contact lenses and yes I did misplace them somewhere...) This goes with "delete all objects in world" idea and yada yada...

2: Ingame auctioning, w/o requiring a human to be there to overlook it. (Explains itself).

3: Object collision and gravity. Nearly impossible (just a guess) and ultimately awesome (my opinion).

4: The ability to ride rides. At the moment I know it's possible when sitting on something and then using the camera to watch yourself from a different angle, or go into the edit window and watch yourself from there. Mouselook riding doesn't work at all. Just sitting down and expecting it to work doesn't work. It gets all jerky, yuck. Of course I dunno if this is even supposed to be a feature of the game (and it should be! I thought I saw rollercoasters in preview screenshots! )

5: If you're a land owner, you should be responsible enough to come ingame at least once a week and keep the place neat and tidy (or updated) just to let other people know you are ALIVE. Currently there's an owned plot of land directly next to me with a few random wooden blocks that were placed for fun. I have never EVER seen the owner of this land and the blocks have never been updated or moved or anything, and I can't move them or steal the guy's land. I think all land should have a 1 week limit for its owner to show up, and if they don't, the land goes up for claim by other people. And for those who go on vacations, there can be a "vacation" option you can select so you can hold your land for, oooh say.... up to 2 months. But that's just me.....

6: What's the point of having the option to negatively rate people if all it gets YOU is an unfounded negative rating from THAT person...? Yes, rating someone negatively does adversely affect THEIR game, but it affects YOUR game too because that person will almost always instantly negatively rate you in retaliation. I'm not saying I don't like the ratings system, I'm just saying that if I want to negatively rate someone because they spam-built all around my land, I am wary of doing it for the sake of my own positive rating... I can't really think of a solution to this except to have a "reason box" field to let the person know why you rated them badly, so they could perhaps 'accept' the rating and just move on with (second)life... hehe ;)

7: X/Y/Z axis short-term displacement. What is this you ask? Well getting trapped in cages, boxes, and poorly built houses (yes it's happened to me) can get annoying when you're servers away from home and don't feel like teleporting all the way home. So maybe the option to teleport a short distance in the x y or z coordinate could help this out to get you out of a jam quickly. To keep people from taking advantage of this feature, you could have it so you could only use it once every 5 or 10 seconds (this way there's no way short-term teleporting could get you to a location faster than flying or paid teleporting)

8: Start off all the newbies in their own group called "newbies" and have the prefix "newbie" on their name until they learn how to leave the group! Hahahahaha :D But I really see this happening in a good way as people would be more willing to help out and offer suggestions and teach the newbies the ways of (second)life.

9: Along the lines of garbage pick-up, how about a "please check this object mister/miss linden" box for every immovable item in the world. Then the lindens, or a garbage man, could go through the world checking all the checked objects and judging (probably the toughest part of the job) if it's complete junk or if it should stay as part of the world.
BTW I would love to be a garbage man, just imagine the pay if it were relative to real life garbage men :D

(FINAL [finally ;)])10: Instant sign posts. I'm sick of the question-mark booths giving out note cards or having to script objects so they have floating text above them. Just give me a simple sign-post looking thingy with a quick text field to type in what I want to be on the sign, and then people could read the sign. If need be, the text field could be limited to say 50 characters, or make larger signs for larger postings. I'm just sick of having to use textures and scripts to get simple points across (like "enter here", really simple stuff)

WHEW! That was a long one. Hope you guys appreciate the work I'm putting in to make this a good game, vweeehehehehehe :D :D :D

#6: I think the solution shoudl be not to tell a person when they get rated negatively. Or at least allow the option of not informing the person.

#1 Use the debug menu
#2 I lile it. Good idea
#3 Getting fixed, it's not at the top of their list... look for this near 1.0
#4 1.2 ~1.3
#5 It's coming.. probably 0.4 ~ 0.7(my guess)
#6 Good point
#7 Just pay for it... use another of your landmark... but again good point
#8 Nah... I hang out at the welcome with Ben and JEn... YOU KNOW who the newbs are.
#9 0.4... don't worry!
#10 ok... whatever... i just make those signs that you don't want to make... come see me and i'll give ya one.

All these (version numbers) are pretty good, I have my Linden sources... and sometimes I listen from behind a camo cube... Phil Linden: "so anyways Andrew... hey is that a cube moving?" Andrew Linden: "What cube? all I can see is the ground!!" Phil: "Ah maybe, anyways about that secret in version..."

not sure if this is what you're looking for: there's a "physics" checkbox on the Object tab.

BP -- thanks for addressing that #3 issue. I was in the middle of posting the same question last night when the power went out at home... sigh... nothing to do but go to bed.

Some of Nexus Nash's responses to the feature list were suprisingly accurate. I wonder who his inside connection is...
