Not sure if this has been suggested, but is there a way to track how many visits/how much Dwell is generated by individual explorers/visitors, dwell-generators?

Those who are really into exploring the vast landscapes of SL would have a way of knowing (and being rewarded?) how many parcels they explored (spend xxx amount of time at, or.....), and how much Dwell they have generated for other land owners, tracked as a running total. Those who visit a lot would then become good citizens and would get lots of invites for dinner, eh? (And the Top 10 Visitors Are!!!!)

This would also be an incentive for people to get out more, visit more, see places thay haven't seen in awhile. And I'd like to have a way of knowing how much traveling in our world I've been doing, ie., a visiting-odometor/pedometer, as it were)

Just wondering.... :D

This would be interisting to see. Wouldn't mind having a way to do this.

I know they're planing to put in how much dwell your property is getting in the My Land window. Or something simular.

The Lindens seem to have a (unannounced/unofficial?) policy of limiting numerical data about the game world to as little as possible. This is, I imagine, so that it feels more like a world than a computer simulation. The only places you really see numbers are in the edit windows and when dealing with money.

So I wouldn't expect any hard numbers about how much dwell you or your land are accruing.

(Heck, we don't even know how many active accounts there are...)

I would love to see something like this to reward those who don't sit on their own land, but go out in explore.

<shamelessplug>I love floating around SL in my balloon and viewing the landscape take shape!</shamelessplug>

This would be useful to reward those who don't have land, but like to attend events as well as explorers.

Shamlessplug acknowledged.

Send me the location of your balloon and I'll stop bye.
