When I'm working with objects that are near the borders of my properties, I would like to be able to tell whose land it is own. I don't want to step on anyone's toes/prims, but I also don't want to put work into something and then have it returned/deleted (rightfully) by my neighbor.

Maybe we could get info as to whose land the object is currently on along with the creator and object owners names.

And, while I'm at it, the Objects screen of About Land needs to be more detailed. When I'm told I have 20 objects owned by others on my land, I would like to be able to pull up a list of Who owns what objects, and return/delete them on a person by person basis.

I certainly agree and second it. The way I've been dealing with the land line issue is I make 10x10x.010 boards and send them up however high I am building to outline the property lines and delete or work around it as I am working in progress. That way I keep within my boundaries and I can physically see how far in each direction I can build while up there.

For single prims, look at the Z axis in Edit Mode. Whatever land this is above is the land that the object is counted as being over.

This also works for linked sets, in this case, the center of the parent prim, not the linked set (so the Z axis in Edit mode isn't helpul there).
