Haven't we actually seen progress on the Havok4 side of things? It's being tested on the main grid right now so, yes.. We're definitely seeing progress. /me w00ts. |

back on subject and to awnser the op
we dont have interactive flash for the exact same reason we dont have html on a prim, it requires input and the lindens have no clue on how to map a users mouse tru the client or 3d space onto another 2d medium nor do they have any ideas about how to focus a keyboard on anything thats outside of the clients UI its not very interactive if you cant interact with it feel free to prove me wrong lindens, but given your track record on the subject id be willing to put money down that you wont ![]() |

As long as it's tied to a parcel's media stream (like audio/video and supposidly html-on-a-prim), requires conscious user effort to activate and is subject to an LL kill switch it should be fine.
It's only a matter of time before another Flash exploit is discovered and the impact of that should be no worse than what happened with the Quicktime exploit (aside from the annoying fact that scripts can auto-start video). |

As I understand it, interactive Flash on a prim is _THE_ reason why we don't have HTML on a prim.
If you go to www.ubrowser.com you can see the revisions of the browser being developed for it. There was at some point a prize of a free private island for a year if you fixed the problems with interactive Flash.. |

its on scedule, right avter implementing an environment shader and havok4 physics. You're forgetting about Mono, which I believe has been just about delayed enough to get implemented now ![]() _____________________
