If this has been suggested before, I'm suggesting it again... hit a key, you start running forward. Hit it again and you stop. Has this been suggested before?

Workaround: 1: Turn off numlock (if you already have it on, otherwise, skip to next step. 2: Hold down the 8 key on your numpad (the game thinks it is the forward button). 3: Before letting go of the 8 key, turn numlock on. 4: Let go of 8 key and watch as you are auto-walking. Props to Casval Epoch for this one!

And it has a benefit. After you do that, if you turn numlock back off you'll continue walking until you hit the forward key again, so with numlock off again you can even steer without having to hold forward down.  |
