Personalized Event Calendar

After I clicked through half a dozen event announcements again (as I do every day) from several of the groups I am in I was thinking it would be useful to have a specialized interface for group events (and while we are at it, permanent group related locations too).

I was thinking maybe everyone could have a personalized calendar that lists events of all the groups (as published by group officers or owners via a simple in-game interface not unlike the one for notices today) of that person. That way it is easy to get the information when you need it, not hours or days earlier at the time of the first login after the notice was sent (or exactly when it is sent in case you are online). It is also easier to see conflicts between events of several groups.

The interface could include a "remind me" option and of course a location for the event to make it easy to teleport there.

I am hoping this would reduce the amount of notices drastically to maybe one or two exactly when the event takes place, or maybe with some additional features those would be unnecessary too.

I would love this! What a great suggestion. Now I have to put everything into my Outlook Calendar which works but it gets cluttered with all the SL stuff.
