The server performance of 1.3 is a good deal more efficient than that in 1.2, so there's less server-side lag. If you're having problems rendering lots of people, it may be that your computer just isn't powerful enough.

Now, before anyone jumps on my back about how it's brand new, and I should learn some respect, or I don't know what I'm talking about, I can pretty much guarantee that everyone in SL has an underpowered computer compared to what SL "runs well" on.

My computer is definately not enough. Above spec, but under performing.

I was just kinda ranting anyway :p

The point is, try to figure out where the problem is. Is it the sim FPS down in the single-digits? Is it soley your framerate? Or perhaps your bandwidth or connection speed? Video memory perhaps? There's a lot of different factors, and it can often be a single one causing most of your troubles.
