Tighter site/forum integration

I think it is rather confusing that you have to sign in once to the site, and once to the forums, and often times, as you move back and forth between them, you have to reauthorize. I did not even realize that there were more than four forums for awhile, until I guessed one day that my user name was my full avatar name in one box (even though everywhere else it is two separate boxes for first and last name), and then I discovered there are a lot more fourms (including this one). This is not apparent in any way on the site, or even explained, and is confusing for new users, especially if you try to register. It is silly to have a link about registering if it is turned off anyway and unnecessary. I recognize some of this may be limitations of the forum software, but it is still confusing, and this game is overwhelming enough for new users without the forums being confusing as well.

If you can't tighten the integration, at least allow us to save our passwords (and for the forum to save the user name as well) so reauthentication can be seamless.

I find that I have to sign into every page her on the forums before I can see most of whats here, which can get frustrating after I have signed into the first page. I also discovered yesterday I could not sign on to the forums from another location.

To save your username and password on the forums (forums only, sorry), go into a forum such as "Feature Suggestions" or "General Discussion" (any one will do) and scroll all the way down. Once your at the bottom, click the drop down list in the lower left and scroll until you see "User Control Panel" click it, and it will take you to the (well hidden) user control panel.

Click the options link at the top, and scroll until you see "Browse board with cookies?" make sure that has its bubble checked 'yes'.

Note: if anyone else has access to your computer, this isnt recommended, as they can log into the full forums without filling in a username or password.

I hope this helps...
