You might not have noticed, but for a group named for example Secondlife Help you will find it in the group search tab by typing Secondlife, but won't find it if you type Help.
!!!
Just think about how many groups you are missing, and if you are a group owner, how many members you are missing ! just because unlike other searches, the group search only matches for groups that starts with the keyword.

If memory serves me correctly, it used to do that, but it was determined that it caused too much load on the servers. As a result, it was changed to the current "starts with" search. I agree, a substring search would result in more hits.

Well "contains" is back with 1.15 ! yey !
It even searches for words in the charter, not so good...
