llParcelSay or llParcelShout

A common problem I find is "bleedover" from casinos of their objects shouting every minute or two which can be very annoying for the neighbours. llSay isn't really useful to them as only people within 20m of the object will be able to hear it. llShout spams the neighbours, creating tension. What I propose is a new function llParcelShout. Using this function would mean that anyone on the same parcel of land as the object would be able to hear it. This would mean that casinos can get their message across to all their customers without annoying there neighbours.

llParcelShout syntax would be exactly the same as llSay and llShout. A possible option though could be a flag to indicate whether it applied to the current parcel only, or all parcels on the current sim with the same owner...

Thoughts?

Excellent suggestion. Assuming the club owners would actually use it, of course, which is another matter altogether.

If the tools are provided, then one can hope they would be used, at the very least they couldn't say "it can't be done"...

Another advantage to this I have just thought of is with security or monitoring devices.. I have a sensor in my club and a receiver in my skybox so I know if there is anyone in the club. Because my skybox is over 100m away, I have to use email for the sensor and receiver to communicate... using llParcelShout, I could do away with the email and even have multiple recievers in the multiple sky boxes...

I've suggested something like this, limited to land on the same region owned by the script owner, but restricting it to the same parcel would also be useful.
