i just recently discovered the way to turn off the fog effect under the debug menu. i love it! i always do it now. everything looks so much nicer. i just wish it could stay on as default so i didn't have to keep unchecking it everytime i log on.

uh oh i can't find how to enable it. i think it used to be that you checked something under the help menu and then you had another menu called 'debug'. all kinds of goodies in there.
arg ... anyone else know how to open it?

yep you got james. thanks so to check out what i'm talking about go under debug-->rendering-->features and uncheck fog. its soooo much nicer. but it doesn't stay on when you relog
