Second Life and Xstreet iPod/iPhone App

Ok so I think that there should be an app for Second Life and Xstreet in general. Imagine if you are on the go and you have an iPod/iPhone with the SL app - you can check to see which of your friends are online and send them a message if you want, if you were bidding for land you could check the current bid price and submit a new amount, etc. As for an Xstreet app imagine the same thing that you have an iPod/iPhone and you want to buy a new outfit for ur AV on the go - jump on the Xstreet app and you can view all the items available for purchase or add funds to your account. These are my ideas that I would love to see put into production. Linden Labs could even put a price on the apps so that they could make a profit from it. I'm just wondering what is everybody else's opinion on the topic.

Better yet, a mobile web version so that anyone with a mobile device can use them, as opposed to just those who buy Apple's products.

XStreetSL works pretty well in the iPhone's Safari browser, while a dedicated app could be that little bit better, I'm not sure there's really a big need for it; better they keep working on tightening up the web-site as a whole I think.
