Enough with the online/offline notifications already!

We need to have a notify/no notify option on our zillions of calling cards. I get notified WAAAAY too often that X is online or offline. I have probably close to a hundred cards, but I only care about two or three of those people. Seriously, I don't need to know that some random stranger who traded cards with me 3 weeks ago and hasn't said a word to me since is online or offline.

I agree here but I wanna add some more. Is there any way we can kind've block out the PM announcements from Lindens? If anyone has been in the game long enough they already know to get event lists they simply go to ahern to get a notecard. Be nice to turn this on and off if possible. I just gett a slight annoyed when I'm building and really into it, all of a sudden here comes a Linden announcement. That part is not a bother, unless the white text across the screen is blocking something I'm trying to fix or build upon. The part that annoys me the most is the flashing IM window. You know it's there, how can you miss it? It sits theere and winks at you begging you to close it ARGHHH, LOL. Also agree with Huns, not interested in who is online or offline, ir reminds me of ICQ, and oh geeez I hate ICQ, LOL.

I agree that we are getting way to many of these messages, any option of a profile checkbox to turn off all. To selecting which types of messages we want, would be wonderful.

I think what Neo wants is an "Ignore Global IMs" checkbox.

I think when you accept a calling card, Offline/Online notification should _DISABLED_, then, you can check the person's profile, and click a lil box that enables offline/online notification for that specific person.
