I'm in SL right now, and I can't move because I have 12 incoming sounds. I think we need a way to just purge them, and skip them, as they're not ALL relevant to my existance.

you can scale down the amount of bandwidth is used for sounds. Not sure how fast it takes effect, if you were to scale it down once you saw too many sounds inc.
