There are accounts that have been deleted or closed that still contain images and profile info.
You can find objects created or owned by these accounts and still see things that the original account holder may not want to still be visible.
Removing data from the database would also reduce the amount of data the DataServer would have to store.
I recommend removing the following from deleted or closed accounts. 1) Pictures from the first and the RL page. 2) Removing text from the first and RL page. 3) Removing text from "Picks" section. The list of Picks are still useful in finding where the item was originally sold. 4) Removing extra text from the "Skills" page. The check boxes are likely stored in a format that can't be removed.
A background system could then be added to slowly check the entire DataServer one deleted or closed account at a time to see if they have any object references would allow the system to completely delete accounts that do not have any created or owned objects since there is no way to access them.

Isn't mute entirely client-side? Your mute settings may be carried around with you, but I think it's your client that does the muting, the servers don't really care, so it probably just stores a name to ignore since they're more readable in the mute window.
I was however under the impression that accounts lose their inventory after so many months (3?) of inactivity. It would make sense to just remove other details.

Very good point. But still since we loss mutes every so offen. They should also be removed from us as well when they are nolonger in the game.
