how what is reality without sex and violence.... i mean it be a cool way to earn money... be a hooker... or be a cop... get more money by the amount of people you arrest.... or murderers and thieves..... they loose money for being one.. like no weekly income or something.. but they lead a fun dangerous life with much profits... like you can go into someone’s house and kill them and they their house and keep on moving from 1 house to another.. cuz you have like 20 cops looking for you. the more crime you do the more the bounty rises on ur head...

if you get arrested you go to court and other players convict you... for a sentence.. you get banned from the game for that amount of time... if you get killed you gotta restart.... I don’t know...


and hey as dorky as that may sound, I want to f*ck in my second life as much as in my first one....

haha well i would be looking into GTA 3 if it had everything else that SL has... i mean im not saying that the game play should be all about the things listed below... i mean you can still be and srtist, be architect.. try to take over teh world etc etc. but i mean hey thats life, if i wann be a male gigallo to make money whos to say i cant..... man want if i wann be a famous thing builder, an artist by day and a hitman or a pimp by night... yo id pay my bitches damn good too.. id only keep 30% of what they make.

Well, if you want to have that game, make it here. That is what Second Life is all about - its user created. Be carefull though, most of the players don't want to do this kind of thing, at least most of the current players. Most likely if you engage in this sort of anti-social activity, you will be rated negatively, which means less money, which means less resources.

As more players join, they will be adding more servers though, and I don't see any reason why you and your fellow anarchists couldn't set up camp in a part of the outlands, and create scripted objects and attachments that allow you to pimp, rob, and soforth. you should make a group and invite people who would be interested in setting something like that up, complete with laws and soforth, but please be carefull not to tread on the rights of other players who aren't into that kinda thing to enjoy the game.

you could do that?... i mean i know the game is all about users creating things... but i figured its limited to objects and some other things.. but limited... if you can do that.... yo tahts crazy... im gonna start learning the script now.. so by the time it comes out....im gonna build and empire on an island.....it will be full of pirates pimp ninjas.....i'll be king... and.... and... ooooh... just wait and see.. u'll be hearing the name Wayne Stone for yaers to come.. muhaha

Yep, hard to forge the pimp ninjas, they can throw a diaphragm with deadly accuracy and do that oh so funky strut before whipping those nunchuks out and beating you senseless.

Maybe they should have psych evaluations before they let people into the closed beta.

But following what BBC said, while it is true that the world is user driven, and a player can do anything they can imagine and script/build, it does require a certain amount of expertise. And since I think it's less common for people with attitudes like Wayne to be good coders/builders (since coding/building takes persistance, concentration, research, expiramentation, etc, not attitude), hopefully we won't have to worry about this sort of thing.

To Wayne, however, I do not automatically place individuals into that generalization. I will assume you have plenty of expertise, and I fear your wrecklessness. Therefore I will be putting up safe guards against this sort of thing. And if hear about you committing any of the acts of violence and crime you described, I will certainly kill you (in second life) the minute I see you, assuming I have the means. And I will bet my scripting abilities against yours any day.

I do not think it would be unreasonable to lock any thread that has not had activity for more than, say, 6 months.

Don't care what is done about old threads...just lock this one....it's silly. lol

And besides, "pimp" references really piss me off. Please...

I remember this thread from when I was a newbie. It was one of the threads that most impressed me about SL. I was sure this was a place I wanted to be involved with because of the response of the such residents as BuhBuhCuh, Pat Murphy and Stellar.

What totally floored me, was how, even though this guy was clearly out there, they were still willing to tolerate and accomodate things that they personally had no interest in.

Now not only can we not tolerate "pimp ninja pirates" we can't even tolerate seeing a discussion of them?

I'm sorry this kid didn't stick around, we might have kept the Outlands if we had had more ninja pirates
