Change the way group invites work PLZ

I was building something in an area where I need to have a certain group tag on or what I put out goes back to my inventory after a passage of some time. While I was building I received an invite to a group from someone who is an important contact in-world, so I accepted it. I forgot that that would IMMEDIATELY change my active group tag and went back to building. Sure enough, after a while pieces of the building I was meticulously putting together started disappearing. I personally can't think of ANY benefit from having your tag change when you accept an invite but I can now think of a very detrimental downside to it. PLZ PLZ PLZ make it so when you merely accept a group invite, it doesn't immediately change your active tag. PUH-leez....

I swear,I swear,..I am going back to World of Warcraft and Morrowind,after reading all the problems with SL.Its sad,really.There are none of these problems with WoW.At all.Build what you like,and plug it in.Especially with Morrowind.Cost is free,and no problems with prims,LBs,and dissappearing issues.
