Easier to invite into a group

It takes about 6 or 7 clicks to get to a menu to offer group membership to someone. There should be a way to drag the group you want to offer onto their avatar, similar to inventory. That's it!

That would be fabulous Planet, I run discussion groups for (shameless plug) Bakery of the Poets, my RL artist support nonprofit. We have new people show up every week and I must say it gets chaotic when I'm trying to host and invite new people into the group at the same time. Often I won't even bother.

Another thing that would be great is if I could change a person's role. Not just add one, but change it so that when a regular member becomes a donor it's reflected in their tag.

I vote for being able to invite to a group from their profile.

I like Argent's idea as well as the ability of right clicking on someone and "Group Invite", then it pops up your group list where you can choose which one to invite them into.

Unfortunately, the easier we make it to invite someone to a group the more we'll all be bombarded with "ZOMG Join My Group!" spam.

I'm sure this is the reason why group invitations aren't accessible via script either.

Although I do agree with Jacques spamming comment,
it would be great if the process to join a group would be easier... even if a "join group" option would display when someone right clicked you for your active group that would be helpful.

Or dragging a group to another person would certainly be easier that using the person chooser each time
