Hello everybody,

I would like to discuss the pros and cons of adding clickable URLs to notecards, or even inventing a new folder "Favourites" or "URLs" in the inventory to save URLs to websites, which then could be added to notecards as inventory objects.

The idea popped up when I tried to create an informative notecard for a group of users informing them of an important website. So far, it is only possible to add URLs to notecards as plain text, and the reader has to copy and paste the URL into his browser.
Other from that, i would consider it convenient to save favourite URLs as inventory objects to be able to access these pages quickly from inside Second Life.

Is anyone else interested in this functionality? Does it make sense to you? Or is it only a stupid idea of me? *grin

Please let me know!
Kind regards,

Clickable URLs in notecards? Maybe.

Save URLs in inventory? Nah.

I call for HTML notecards! They have the technology. Why not?

HTML notecards would deliver the functionality requested, but I think they would also be a security risk. If you allowed HTML ingame, there could also be scripts executed and so on.

If this could be securely excepted, I would also agree to HTML notecards.
