I'm sure many people will agree that there's just not much fancy stuff you can do within notecards. I'd like fancier notecards, myself - for business cards, etc. Here's what I propose: bold/underline/italics, either through a menu or through HTML or other tags. inline notecards and textures! You could take a texture and actually /insert/ it in a notecard! hypertext links. This would be wonderful. The notecard window itself would serve as a webpage. It would take some work to get SL to work with IE or Netscape, I'm sure. But some form of navigation and more content in notecards would be soooo nice! Having a URL as in inventory would be nice too  So you could get hypertext out of a notecard just like text and use the target it in a script. We could even expand on that and be able to store AND access textures, objects, etc. in notecards. (As far as I know, we can't do that): dataserver(...) { ... if (type==INVENTORY_URL) {llShowURL(user, str);} if (type==INVENTORY_OBJECT) {llRezObject(str,...);} }

I am 100% sure that you can drop landmarks into Notecards, and I am 91% sure that I have seen textures dropped into Notecards.
Perhaps we can drop anything in our inventory into a Notecard?
I'll have to experiment in-world I guess.

How about copy/modify protected notecards?
