See: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Viewer_Visual_Update
For an outline.

Dazzle is a new UI update being worked on by Linden Labs.
I've made an automatic patcher for the standard windows viewer, as well as the mac viewer (which is untested!!!)

Windows: http://janashell.com/dazzle/DazzlePatcher.exe
Mac (UNTESTED!!!!!): http://janashell.com/dazzle/DazzlePatcher_OSX.app.zip

The few people I have asked to test the windows patcher, both on 64bit and 32bit machines have had 0 problems.

Issues:
* Does NOT work on windlight! This is an issue with the package, as soon as it will work with windlight, I'll update it to automaticly detect the version and update for it.
* Mac: It hasn't been tested, if someone can do it and tell me the results, I'd be very very happy <3 :)
* Linux: 64 bit compile fails. I should have it done soon.

Please tell me what you think, or if you have a suggestion :)

It looks like there was a little mixup with the Mac version.

$ file DazzlePatcher_Mac
DazzlePatcher_Mac: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), for GNU/Linux 2.2.5, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped

Ok, it's a lot closer on Mac this time =) I'm testing this on a PowerPc machine running Tiger in case that matters. It downloads and runs, gets as far as downloading the temp_dazzle.* files to my home directory, then hangs forever. I don't know what it is waiting for, are there specific names or version numbers it needs to see?

That said, that .zip file is intact, and manually replacing files did work as expected, so all the preliminaries are working. Not bad without a machine to test on =)
