How do people feel about eliminating the automatic enter key = accept when a dialog pops up?
I accidentally joined a group that cost me $150 like this because I was hitting enter to basically say "Thanks but no thanks..." lol..
So now I have $150 less for my "experiments" and I feel bad about asking for a "refund"!

Dont feel bad about asking for a refund. Its just business. What was the group? Find out who the founder is and ask for your money back. Groups are generally free to join, sounds like a scam to me. Find out who is responsible and hold them accountable, they going to keep doing it to unsuspecting people otherwise.
Welcome to SL and the forums, by the way. Dont let $150 get you down, I would try to get to the bottom of it though.

Nobody has any business charging you more than a third of its start up cost to join a group. Ask for your money back. From: someone Originally posted by Garoad Kuroda How do people feel about eliminating the automatic enter key = accept when a dialog pops up?

>_< Not cool. Now if the group was providing neat loot for 150 when you joined it might be different. But to just charge for membership is not cool.

This really sounds like a scam to me.
Example:
Start talking to new user. New user starts to reply, scammer invites them into group.
Since they are typing, they are probably not looking at the screen, so, they will hit enter, and get charged whatever the fee is to join the group. Bad, bad, bad.
EDIT: Woops, didn't finish my reply, hit enter too soon!
Anyway, ask for your money back, and if they say no, post their name and all the info in the general discussion forum, this seriously sounds like a con artist in SL.

Oh, okay.... I'll try asking for a refund. I don't know if I'd say it's a scam yet really, he seemed like a nice guy and we played a game of jetball with a few people. We'll see what happens I guess!

Well, he said he'd "undo" the fee...but the only way to pay someone is to be right in front of them, right? (Other than paying an object they own.)
