Would it be possible to have your landmarks contained in the Search window rather than in inventory? So you could open your search window, have a list of your currently held landmarks in their own tab and have your currently held landmarks searchable via keywords? this would help tremendously for people who have a ton of landmarks.
This would also be MUCH more user friendly than trying to sort through in inventory, especially if the image for the landmark would be pulled if you select it, like it is already when you search places.

Inventory -> Filters -> Modify Current -> Only Landmarks -> use the bloody inventory search. Or heck, just search your inventory and forget the filter.

Search -> landmarks.
having the landmark shapshot displayed would make having landmarks 100% more functional.

From: Seity Rejected Search -> landmarks.
having the landmark shapshot displayed would make having landmarks 100% more functional. This is possible, sorta, with an html template and a LSL script to convert landmarks to SLURLs. Hmm, an SL entreprenuer could even make some decent advertising cash with my idea. At sluniverse, your snapzilla postcards already include SLURLs. It would be even neater if users could send a postcard to an alternate sluniverse address specifically for organizing landmarks. The image could then be placed on a special user page which would show and search all the landmarks along with the image. Of course, anyone could create their own local version as well. Create an html template full of jpegs and SLURL links. When you want to bookmark a location, save the image and modify your html to add the new landmark info. Search would be a simple ctrl-F page search, and you could include as much or as little description as you like.
