I just bought a couple of plots in Leda. We have a lovely bit of waterfront, but unfortunately, we can't really drive our boats much because there's a dead zone just north of Leda.

Couldn't we have this area filled in with water, thereby completing the big lake?

Maybe there could be an island or two in the center to gain some value from it? I understand it costs real money to set up a sim. Maybe someone would like to pay to own the entire island?

I don't have the answers... I just think it would be nice. :(

You can still sell the land underwater, it just stays under water.

3 islands, one large, two small, and the rest water.

Cities need old buildings so badly it is probably impossible for vigorous streets and districts to grow without them.... for really new ideas of any kind—no matter how ultimately profitable or otherwise successful some of them might prove to be—there is no leeway for such chancy trial, error and experimentation in the high-overhead economy of new construction. Old ideas can sometimes use new buildings. New ideas must use old buildings.
