I'm sure I'm not alone here but I'm a self confessed photo-addict. Every time I find spectacular build or something that interests me in-world I will take a quick snapshot as a reminder. The problem arises when your snapshot folder contains several hundred files, it can be a real bind to find a specific image. It's not always practical to individually name snapshots so you end up with a folder full of files with names like Snapshot_822.bmp.
It would be a great help if the default file name was something a bit more meaningful, rather than Snapshot_SequenceNumber.BMP how about something like RegionName_SequenceNumber.BMP or better still RegionName_Coordinates_SequenceNumber.BMP?
I know it's a small thing in the grand scheme of things but I'm sure it will save many a shutterbug hours of manual file naming.

What I would love to see is an option to prompt us to enter a filename every time we take a photo. Right now if you take one photo, it prompts you. If you take more than one in any one session of play inside SL, it assumes you must want it to be the same as the first filename and puts a _02 on the end of it, etc.
So if I'm taking product shots for stuff for my store, I have to take photos, log out of SL, log back in, just so I can change the filename.

I'd like something simplier: a way to set a personal default for file name and save-to location.

Well, you can give it a name other than snapshot... and that helps.. but I too wish one could force a filename EACH TIME... at least the option too.

I make many, many pictures online... I force myself to rename directly what I want to keep and delete what can be thrown away.
But yes, I would like some more naming options.... but I don't think it will solve the mentioned problem. Just like a collection of stamps, you have to make time to order them.

Adding a tick to the plea to at least have an option to give each pic a new name. Running a studio can get embarassing
