I don't know if this has been suggested before, but it would be pretty useful...
I was building and I was wondering which texture to use on an object. I have all my textures in different folders, which is supposed to help in finding what I need, but this particular texture was not in a specific folder. It was one of the first textures I uploaded when I started in SL, so I had to search through all of my texture folders to find it and I have too many textures to scroll through the texture menu in edit mode.

So my suggestion is to have a "Find" feature for our inventory. That way whenever you need a specific item/texture/script/etc., you don't need to rumage through all the other stuff to get it.

Select an inventory item by typing a name.

We have that now, well sort of....It goes to an item pretty quickly so you have to type fast. Open the texture folder and type the name of the texture you are looking for and it will go to it.

My problem is I have trouble remembering the name of the item I am looking for. I don't know why, I've been taking that new memory drug, you know um...er...uh... I can't remember the name of it right now.

This has been suggested a few times before, and I still support it... I'm too lazy to dig around to find the posts now.
