Just a couple of suggestions I've heard in world.
* ability to view the big world map in 'radar dots only' mode (no ground textures, only dots representing players). This is to see density of population / gatherings in progress.
* ability to disable radar dots for yourself (at least when AFK or BUSY).
- ie, when toggled, your 'green dot' won't appear on the map, and wont attract visitors while BUSY or AFK.

How about being able to put your cursor over the green dot in the Big Map, and have it display the name of the av the dot represents. That way you won't constantly be pulling down the cc menu to see if the dot is actually the friend you are looking for.

I would like objects I own to apear on the big map, this would be usefull for tracking down lost objects.
Or have some sort of search feature to find all objects I own.

That's a good idea, but for privacy reasons, maybe the tooltip for the tracking dot on the map should require a calling card, so you have the same limits as tracking someone with a tracking beam now. (Only it might actually work a little better?)

Yes...a "Show My Objects" selection would be very, very useful! Also.. one of the last updates took the little (PG) and (M) ratings on the sim names in the big map. Now you have to cursor over them to see. Put it back! |
