First of all i'm not sure if SL even reads these forums but i will give it a try. It sure wont hurt.
During my four months in SL I have noticed hundreds maybe thousands of scripted and nonscripted objects stuck in areas marked as no entry including Linden property that have autoreturn set to 0 which is off. I myself have almost lost items due to it myself.
I think SL should include in setting an area to No Entry or Buy Pass an automatic autoreturn on so scripted and nonscripted objects would be returned to thier rightful owners.
Just think of the computer resources it would free up not to have to keep these objects sitting there running thier scripts. I do think the objects owners probably have rezzed another one to take its place so instead of one scripted object running you have two now running takeing up valueble computer resources that could be used where its needed more .
This has just been an idea that could be implimented which i beleive would help SL. One other thing areas would look better with all the objects gone

Nope, LL doesn't activly read the forums, you have to create a jira entry to get noticed and even then it's hardly garanteed a linden reads it.
personaly I rather see no object entry linked to no entry and buy pass, it makes more sence to block objects if the owner can't enter as wel then to alow them to enter, throw the ower off if it's a verhicle and then return it, if they are not verhicles the object are most likely bullets and I doubt anyone likes having bullets returned as they are (suposed to be) temperary anyway.

It is a common mistake just to assume the Lindens never read anything, because they not always respond to everyone and everything said. The Jira is definately read by them, as it is the source for improving things. So are tickets within the Support system. Without a doubt I am sure the occasinal Linden even peeks on these forums. You can even visit the weekly Jira bugtrack sessions in Levenhall with many Lindens present there usually. Bugtracking is a complicated (technical) business and most problems are not solved/solvable without a proper investigation of the problem first.
Littering in SL is a bit of a problem indeed. Most just don't bother cleaning up after themselves or totally forget / don't realise they left behind their trash. Many Linden parcels already have auto return set. Usually 5 minutes or so. Regardless the autoreturn settings, you can always take your own items back (right click > pie menu > Take) or just delete them. If you use the mini-map you see your own items in light blue, in case you can't find them anymore.
If someones object (right click and use Edit to find the owner) is in your way and it won't auto-return, usually a simple request and a landmark or tp offer to the owner can solve that. Lots just loose stuff somehow or simply forget. Often unintended. It happens to everyone sometime, including myself. Most are willing to come over for a sec and pick it up. After that they also usually are more aware of the fact of littering. In case of 'hardcore-litter', you can always sent in a support ticket and ask for assistance with the removal.
