When you double-click the map and teleport somewhere (or just teleport to a landmark), you wind up at a telehub and you get the standard red marker. You have to bring up the big map and hit Clear to get rid of it.

95 times out of 100, I already know the place I'm going to, so having to manually clear the marker is a pain. The avatar is automatically rotated to face the target anyhow.

I'd like an option to just not draw the marker in the first place, or a GUI button to clear it without having to bring up the map.

I noticed if you set a location via clicking on the large map that when you get there you can just fly into the big red column and it clears without having to go to the map. Not sure if that works for landmarks or people.

I know that with teleporting, if you double click on the map, rather than just clicking once and hitting Teleport, it will clear.

I support this product or service. :)

My experience has been as Cienna's - flying through the beacon will clear the beacon / mark.

I've taken to placing my teleport mark in strategic places... For instance, if I'm heading to Olive, I'll target a spot on the ridge around it that's close to a hub, instead of down in the bowl. Then I'll swoop through it and only THEN pick where I want to go IN Olive.
