 I've tried using nVidia's tool to like them...but SL doesn't weem to make use of both even when the system is set that way.
 
 But you could detech and use both for seperate purposes...mainline on one NIC and sound/media on the other maybe.

If so, it probably wants to do something like adapter fault tolerance by default - try looking into link agregation (aka 802.3ad) instead. 
 15Mb is more than enough for SL - the Preferances setting (network tab) doesn't even allow you to tell it to go over 1.5Mb. Unless you have some specific reason to want to team the adapters, this may be more work than it's worth...

 I highly doubt it will change a thing.
