Hi [1] Apologies if necessary.
"Virtual".
Can we have that as an avatar surname option very soon please??
Cheers
Frankie. [1] Apologies if this lands in the wrong forum. Second Life support centre knowledge base Topic #: 4051-3889 says to post this in the 'Forum' (link to main page but no particular forum specified). A cursory look around and this 'seems' like the best spot for it. OK enough with the apologies, caveats and qualifiers - there's the request!

Right place, no worries. As for suggesting names, so far it appears that they don't listen. I've wanted '"Silverwing" for a long time now.

Worse yet

Hi Actually my experience was worse than that. I wrote to request the name Rockett. Now as far as I can tell LLabs surnames are either names or phrases or conjunctions of words. "Rockett" with 2 't's' is none of these. They said no we don't do what residents ask re names.
One day about 6 weeks later I was idly browsing the then-current name pool. OMG there was 'Rockett'! Now don't tell me someone else came up with that by coincidence.
So worse then saying no and meaning no, they say no so you go off alert, then they maybe put it in anyway, so everyone gets the name except the person who wanted it baddly enough to request it.
