I mentor at the 90 orientation islands, where newbies enter the game. They are entering the game and leaving before they enter the main grid this is for 2 reasons no info on arrival.
I suggest a big sign in english that say .
Hello welcome to Second Life trainning area.

What must i do now = explore this island
right clk mouse get use to it
use arrow keys to walk page up/down to fly
etc

once they have explored island they leave out of game and dont return

instead of an exit sign spell it out what the exit sign does because i have spent alot of time explaining how to leave orientation island

Hmm. Interesting point. Its not going to be obvious to "everyone" that there is a larger world out there to explore from those signs. Something clearer would be useful. Maybe Linden could set up a "Linden Galaxy" gate system, like the Alteran/Atlantian, etc., which only they can set up, and even block the dialing system so those not age-verified will only get PG areas when they do gate. In other words, make it *obvious* that its an entry to a larger area, not just a bunch of signs with "exit" on them.
