Hi, I never posted before, regularly I mind my own business and solve my problems as good as I can not harming or harassing other residents. My friends and people that have close contact with me know I buy land to build on, I like to make artificial open space environments on mainland usually dedicated to public. Free to use public spaces on open space regularly nature themed as Olympus WaterPark, Olympus Art Gallery, Valhalla, etc. During this building processes, I have come to acknowledge the so called 'land Cutters' and even joined Arbor Project (Thumbs Up, you guys) and developed the Mushroom Market concept, in some case free rents or very low priced including free advertisement space, but blending in the landscape on areas I personally rescued the hard way form this people.
They claim they are free to do what ever they like with their land because they own them and harass neighbor land owners until people loose their heads and buy 16 sqm for 333 333 L$ (thats was the worst case I saw until now, but 10k is VERY common) lets say this people buy Land cut it into 16 sqm pieces and stubbornly place one or two in places very hard to avoid if u want to build something constructive. Also most of this land is TOTALLY abandoned until someone starts to build something around it, off course poofer/spammers come to be placed on the exact spot of it. They all claim to be advertiser spaces and use them as harassing and offensive as possible keeping land for sale at very high prices… some don't even sell at all until they make your life miserable for a fast dollar.
Recently I had a poofer/spammer called 'Kill the Nazi' placed on a totally abandoned land next to my property at Elmaer. Owned by an empty Group, or people that have mainland parcels but live very comfortable at private islands and forget that mainland is supposed to be enjoyable to ALL residents. We are all above 18, so I say we are a society and we need make it as organized as possible and have a community Conscience… Off course we are all free to have likes and dislikes, some like porn, some don't, some are Gay, some are straight, some are Angels, others demons or dragons… after all in SL you can be even Donald Duck if i you like, we just have to think that our freedom ends when our neighbor's freedom begins… and I am sorry to say… speculative behavior is totally unacceptable on a FREE society…We all need to make a living, but do it in a way it won't harm people and block their happiness… After all SL is about having fun and constructive behavior I say TURN instead of EARN.
I don't mind living in Anarchy in the true sense of the word, but off course it only works when a human respects his neighbor, even when he don't choose the same path or have different ideas… This my friends is only chaos.
After this I would ask for a vote on a Linden Lab rule that prevents people to cut land bellow 512 sqm and that LL reclaims all unused or misused small parcels bellow that size.
