Setting permissions globally for object's contents

There have been times when I want to give someone an object with full permissions, only to be thwarted by a no-modify or no-copy permission on an item inside the object. I would like a way to set the permissions for all items in an Object's contents without having to select and modify each individual item in the Contents tab.

There are two scenarios that cause problems here:

* Linked objects where more than one object contains other objects. I'd like to see a global permissions button to set permissions on all all items in all objects.

* An object (linked or non-linked) that contains many objects. This could be solved by allowing multi-select in the Contents tab. User selects several items, r-clicks, chooses Properties, and sets permissions for all items selected.
