Probably already asked before, but why are screenshots shrunken in height??? Can you fix that?

I noticed that if you take a screenshot using the 'snapshot' feature at the top of your screen, then save it to your computer, it will be slightly out of size. However! if you use the ~ key, it will save a properly sized bmp image to your harddrive. Try it out!

the problem, as i understand it, is that the engine sizes all textures to certain powers of 2. i know it "snaps" to 128, 256, and 512... haven't tried 64 or 1024... but anyways, unless you've very precisely resized your windowed screen, you're not going to wind up with a 512x512 or 1024x512 screenshot... and when it gets resized by the game, it gets squished. what you need to do is take the snapshot to your hard drive using the backquote key [`], (same key as [~]) and then open the image in an image editing program, and crop/resize the image or add "borders" to the image so the total image height and width are powers of 2, and then upload it. presto, a non-warped screenshot

Either that or you can simply adjust the texture stretching/repeating objects on an object... For instance I have a texture that's approx 500x100, and I simply adjusted the repeating so it would fit nicely on my object which is something like 3x1... Not sure if this helps, but it's yet another thing I learned as I actually learn to correctly build despite being in the beta for 4+ months now

I just wonder why it changed to being squished from the actual normal sizes we used to be getting...

Exactly Dave! I don't see why the size changed frome before. the "squished" version is hard to view and frankly a bit annoying :/
