A few problems

I am finding some rather annoying problems. First, I believe that when applying a texture to a prim, the 'Search' option in the texture tab actually goes through all of the folders and not just the files that are currently open. What is the point of having the search if it doesn't do its job?

Secondly, and this may just be a pet peeve, but whenever I use/do anything in my inventory, the next time I open up my inventory, all of the folders I used are still open, sometimes even the useless ones. I hate having to use the scroller when I am viewing thousands of items at once. Yes, I know I can use the search bar, but having all of these folders open makes it hard to control everything.

Last and certainly not least, why in the world would LL make it impossible for us to see who's online? Please give me a reason. Some people HATE offline IMs and I don't like making people angry.

Just a few ideas to throw onto the table.

It's a bug, it should only open up any folders that were open when you closed your inventory.

Due to their removing of the presence server or something like that. The way they worded it it sounded like it was something they knew was going to happen and couldn't really fix at this time, but went ahead with because of the reduction in bandwith.

There's an option in the Communication tab of the Preferences dialog that when unchecked allows everyone to see your online status.

If people want to make it possible for others to avoid sending them IMs when they are offline they need to leave the box unchecked.

The online status of a person that has that box unchecked shows in their profile, to the right of their name.
