Sub-sim (aka, Oblivion style's alternate world)

Yes, I know it is far-fetch, but at least I'd like to make it into a suggestion.

I believe people must have seen Oblivion. They allow Modder to create a world that doesn't appear on the map and can only be accessed via 'Teleport', Oblivion's style.

Now I believe this feature, if ever implemented, would fix all the problem of people requesting for true private home, as well as requests for Underground cavern and caves.

Want a true private space no one can enter? Have a teleport script that point to your private world, and only allow you to TP in. People can also have caves by creating world that is always darkness, using new WindLight, and arrange prims into cave's inside.

These 'sub-sim' would not appear on the grid map and associated with a the sim it is based on. Perhaps identified by negative Z-position as someone once suggested? Or perhaps negative coordinate could be autometicly assumed sub-grid within the sim the calling script was on. Each of this sub-sim could be considered a parcel that cannot be seperated anymore -- to make things easier to manage with current system.

The total prim counts of all worlds combined within a sim cannot exceed the total prims limit. And I believe there has to be a limit on number of this 'sub-sim' that can be created. Or maybe it require additional payment? That's still possible.

So...what y'all think? :)

if they are only going to be accessable by TP, you can make them as skyboxes atm. I would sugest that a sculptie made from a megaprim of sutable size could be used as the base and build on that, if they are set above 500m they dont seem to appear on the map ( at least none of my skyboxes appear on the map).
I personaly would prefear that LL would add multiple mesh support to SL, I would like to be able to import meshes for complex shapes instead of having to use sculpties.

skyboxes do accessible if you fly high enough :p and you need to be above 1000m in order to make sure no one with max view range can see the big black box in your sky.

And mesh support are as far-fetch as the alternate world =p

The most simple way to do it right now is if you have a whole sim, just set the sim access to one group and nobody can get in or even cam into it that is not part of that group.
This also alows full light control.
You can even hide what the sim looks like on the map by placing a mega prim 256x256 at around 400 meter.
offcourse it's a bit overpriced if you only need 1/4th sim but true privatie comes at a cost.

I know I can do that, and I do own a sim ;p
I just think it should be possible in the long-run, and more practical.

I know it's probably not gonna happen in foreseeable future though, but still...I want to make some awareness =p
